Private tutor in Bemidji, MN
Education
I studied civil engineering at the United States Coast Guard Academy for three years. The bulk of my studies were engineering and mathematics classes. My CGPA was 3.5 when I left to study biology at the University of Connecticut. I have a bachelor of science degree in biology.
Experience
I logged over 200 hours tutoring peers and underclassmen during my sophomore and junior years at the US Coast Guard Academy. I recently scored in the 81st percentile for the mathematics section of the GRE exam. I genuinely enjoy teaching, especially mathematics. I'm very personable and have always had a knack for figuring out how to explain complicated subjects to all types of different personalities. I will probably become an engineering professor as a career once I've finished my doctorate studies.
